OK we have our first submission: Brandon Peele presents Gestalt Therapy posted at GT. Gestalt
He attended a Gestalt Therapy workshop in Auburn, CA with Dr. Valerie Kack PhD. Actually, Gestalt Therapy is a little bit mystery to me, though I read something about that. It is interesting to read from the participant point of view.
We also publish couple of things about Fetal Alchohol syndrome and injures druing walking.
Andrew Leahey presents Hacking headaches in to history where he writes about his personal experience of dealing with headaches. He writes: “I used to, and from time to time I must admit still do, get awful migraines. Migraines that would land me in bed for days at a time, lights off, TV off, eyes covered by the blankets when they aren’t buried in the pillow trying to block out the last bits of light that somehow manage to creep in. I finally got fed up, and started keeping a life journal (which I’ll cover in a future article) to try to figure out what exactly was causing these terrible headaches.”

Kai presents An open letter to the cyber global community – Mental Health posted at Live, thrive, survive, where he writes “Self diagnosis, in its place, as a tool or starting point when you go to your doctor is wonderful. Its something that, in its place, can help you to start adjusting as quickly as you are able and it means its not a shock out of the blue.” She describes his experience as bipolar. Also, she is a girl actually, which I missed at first reading. Sorry. Anyway, very interesting post.
Also you may want to read about Sleep problems
Phil B. presents Phil for Humanity: Curing Diseases in Order of Importance posted at Phil for Humanity. He urges the drug companies to pay more attention for pandemics. Though his view is controversial, because pharma companies pay attetnion to their shareholdes firts of all. So, he probably need to shareholders first. Right? Anyway, he urges to appeal to goverment organizations. Leave a comment please (trackback), how would you deal with that situation?
There are also some more articles at our site.
About COPD, Rabies, Psych disorders in elderly, Physical activity, ECT in depression
Check new quizzes, try them, Also wireless.
Doctor Hébert writes about his experince in New Orlean. He also writes: Charity and trust mean allowing other people to act of their own free will.
Kim writes about nursing education. There is the discussion that clinical experience is the best education. The discussion is going on the Emergiblog site.

How do they use you as guinea pig?
Well. They probably do not. Unless, you agree yourself.
At a point I worked in the pharmaceutical research.
While studying medicine and doing medical research, I knew some rough ideas about the drug development process. I knew something about 3 phases of the trials and so on.
However, I did not realize how complex the process actually is. There are actually 4 phases of just clinical trials, and several more before that.
So if you are interested how they test drugs on you, let’s in brief discuss the process.
If you read some fiction about how some poor boy from a dumpy inner city block accidentally discovers a blockbuster drug that immediately cures half of the world population and the boy becomes rich overnight, forget about that.
Fiction is fiction. Bad fiction.
