Dr. Deborah Serani presents World Suicide Prevention Day: 9/10/06 posted at drdeborahserani.blogspot. Dr. Serani raises very important question. Since the suicide is one of the leading causes of death Almost million people commit suicide every year. In USA, suicides happen more than homicides by 50%. Even deaths from AIDS are twice less common then common than form suicide. In the Western countries, males kill themselves more often than females. Though, females attempt more suicides. The reason may be that males use violent means (like firearm, blades, hanging, falls from high spaces, drowning, and so on). Women mostly use drugs. Also there are differences in psychological status. There are also differences in age of the people attempting suicide and some differences between countries. Also Suicides peak after Weekends in patients with Alcoholism. Anyway, Dr. Serani gives good tips how to spot a person with suicidal thoughts and how to deal with the issue.

Lisa Mitchell presents Choosing the Right Prenatal Caregiver posted at Let’s Talk Babies
She writes: “Each caregiver provides their own unique approach to prenatal care. Once you have an idea of what type of caregiver you think will be right for you begin interviewing caregivers in order to find a personality match that is right for you. If you are not sure which type of caregiver will work best for you it might be a good idea to consult providers in each field before you make your decision. ”
